We manufacture fabricated parts, weldments, and machined parts in carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. All designs are manufactured according to our customers’ specifications. Our 50,000 sq. foot facility are equipped with the latest fabrication technology and equipment to meet our customers’ needs.
With over 50 years of experience, we have the knowledge and versatility to produce even complex weldments and assemblies. everything from parts and kits to prototypes and process equipment.
Copelands actively seeks to partner with customers in long-term relationships. Our customers include international corporations as well as small local shops. Among Copelands’ customers are those for whom it has continuously provided manufacturing services since 1968.
The products we make are used in power generation, machine tools, construction equipment, truck-mounted after-market equipment, hydraulic devices, control cabinets, natural resource processing and a wide assortment of other applications.
Copelands is located near Chattanooga, Tennessee, a transportation hub for interstate, railway, and river traffic. We are adjacent to I-75, and the cities of Atlanta, Nashville, Knoxville, Birmingham, and Charlotte are within easy driving distance. Copelands is conveniently located to serve the southeast United States.
Mike Copeland was first employed at Copelands Inc while he was still in high school in 1968, and has remained active in the business since then.
Will Copeland, the fourth generation of Copelands, joined us in 2007. Graduate from the McCallie School in Chattanooga. He has a BA in Economics from Sewanee: University of the South, where he graduated summa cum laude. Will also graduated with a MA in Economics from Ohio State University, where he was a Distinguished University Fellow. Will has worked as a research assistant at the Center for Human Resources in Columbus, OH and the Ohio State Dept of Economics before joining Copelands.
Roger Benton has been in the metal fabrication industry since 1972. Includes fabrication, engineering, and estimating. Participated in detailing and project scheduling for international manufacturer as a project engineer. Also worked as a consulting engineer to coordinate fabrication and installation of rotating equipment in a European industrial facility before joining Copelands in 1987. Professional membership in American Welding Society.
Jon Kwasnicki graduated with an Associate’s in Drafting & Design from Cleveland State before coming to Copelands in 2006. After working on the detailing and programming side for several years, he returned to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga while continuing to work full-time. In 2014, he completed his BSME and gradually moved into the role of Salesman here at Copelands Inc.
